"Sisterhood" is an original acrylic painting on gallery wrapped canvas. This painting was my first exploration this summer of a brand new colour palette and set up. I had my reference photo constantly at my side, focusing on the shadows and the way the light hit the mountains. It is near and dear to my heart, mainly because it is an expression of a magnificent breakthrough for my artistic practice.
In our world today, I truly feel like we need more community - not just two, but three! The Three Sisters signify that for me, and encourage me to be inclusive in my circles, and generous with my love.
