Elk Island in May

"Elk Island in May" is an original acrylic painting on canvas. This painting is inspired by a day trip that I went on with one of my friends to Elk Island Provincial Park this past May. The day was extremely hot for the end of May, and we definitely weren't prepared with enough water. We enjoyed getting lost in the trails and getting sunburns - the mark of a beautiful day outdoors in Alberta! This painting holds a lot of joy and nostalgia for me, and I hope will inspire you to go and get lost on a trail somewhere!
