Where do you go when you need to feel restored? Sometimes it's just to the couch with a good book and a cup of coffee, or even your own backyard. However, this past year there have been moments when I really needed to drive down and take the little boardwalk path threw the town of Canmore. My family always vacationed there when I was young (I know, so blessed!), and it will forever be a place of joy and rest for me. I hope this small painting brings with it a permission to pursue rest.
