Grand Dreams

"Grand Dreams" is an original acrylic and mixed media painting of Cascade Mountain near Banff, Alberta. I often find that when I go into the mountains, I am inspired by the magnificence of the rock faces, and am reminded how insignificant we are as humans. Not insignificant in that we are unimportant, but that our troubles that seem so huge right now might not be all that big in the grand scheme of life. The title comes from a quote by Vincent Van Gogh which is “For my part, I know nothing with certainty, but the sight of the stars make me dream.” The sight of the mountains make me dream.

All acrylic paintings are on gallery wrapped canvas, and come varnished, signed and ready to hang!
