This painting is of the beauty of the classic prairie skies. Vast swaths of blue, and giant clouds that effortlessly roll past - it is as picturesque as it is constant. Poets and songwriters alike have described the bast blue skies in many many ways - it truly is an inspiring place. I feel like every time that I stand at the edge of a field, or in a field like this one, breathing is easier.
