She Shines Like Summer

"She Shines Like Summer " is an original acrylic painting on maple cradled panel in a gallery depth floater frame from Rustic Burl Co.  

This painting is part of the "Her Flowers Collection" which is like a bouquet of flowers that lasts forever. It was painted in a series of three florals this year, all exploring notes of "prussian blue" which is covering the sides of all three in the custom painted frames. Sunflowers, you know I love them - and who doesn't?? I think that they are a perfect representation of the joy that comes with standing tall, eyes closed with the sun shining in your face. I think we could all take a page out of my friend's book who inspired this painting and turn our faces to the summer sun more often.
