Strawberry Fields Forever

"Strawberry Fields Forever" is an original acrylic painting on 7/8" low profile canvas and is part of my "To Love, Love" Collection. 

It has been on my painting bucket list to paint strawberries, and more specifically, in a cheeky pop art style. This painting is a pop of colour, and expression of the joy of the summer season - kneeled in the dirt picking these tiny morsels of goodness from each stem. 

In the lyrics to this song, Strawberry Fields Forever, it keeps coming back to this line that says "nothing to get hung about" and I think that this describes my attitude when creating this piece. There's nothing too serious about it, just an expression of joy! 

It is my hope that this painting brings a sense of carefree lightness into your space!
